WHAT TYPE OF MAGNETS DO YOU USE IN YOUR FASTENER?
We use Neodymium magnets which have a plastic casing to protect the magnet from damage.
ARE MAGNETS SAFE TO WEAR?
There has been no proven evidence to show magnets to be unsafe to the body. We use Neodymium magnets which are one of the safest types of magnets to use, and have been studied in the use of health and medical devices. You can read more on Neodymium magnets and the human body here.
Magnets may effect electrical devices, cochlear implants and pace makers, therefore if you have a pace maker we advise that you avoid wearing this product. We have been testing Neodymium magnets in BODX Bodysuits for over two years and have not found them to be a hazard, however we advise that you always proceed with caution if you have any concerns.
WILL THE MAGNET ATTRACT THE KITCHEN CUTLERY?
We do get asked this question regularly (and about braces!)! The answer is no. Whilst our magnets are strong enough to hold the weight of the BODX fabric and stay fastened all day, the side of the magnet that faces outwards has a negative pull. Therefore, it is not strong enough to create a magnetic force to attract other items that you pass when wearing your BODX Bodysuit!
CAN I WEAR BODX WITH GENITAL PIERCINGS?
We have not tested the BODX fastener on piercings, therefore we strongly recommend that you avoid wearing a genital piercing if you wear a BODX Bodysuit. Good quality jewellery is not magnetic so test your jewellery on magnet before wearing. If you choose to take responsibility for your piercing and wear a BODX Bodysuit, care must be taken when passing the magnet past your piercing. Once fastened we do not foresee this to be an issue, however we do not take responsibility for any injuries.
WHY IS THE JOIN HIGHER UP? IS IT DETECTABLE UNDER CLOTHES?
BODX was designed for comfort. We chose to position the fastener away from the vagina so that there was nothing digging into your most sensitive body part! A standard bodysuit was first created for gymnasts and eventually made its way into the fashion world. While we loved the look of the "leotard" we decided to try something different and position the fastener above the pubic bone.
Most of us do not need to prance around like Beyonce (although we'd like to!) and don't require a hidden fastener!
Although our fastener may be slightly thicker than one on a standard bodysuit we have found the comfort and ease factor outweighs any other concern.
BODX has been worn under many different fabrics, including very sheer light coloured fabrics, and the fastener has not been visible.

DO YOU HAVE XXL+ OR XS?
As a fashion start-up business we have launched with what we thought would be the most demanded sizing. Manufacturers require minimum orders therefore we couldn't accommodate all sizes to launch with.
However, as we grow we will ensure our product range sizing is more inclusive of all sizes if there is a demand for these sizes. Please contact us via the email below if you would love to see larger or smaller sizes.

We currently ship from Sydney Australia and we offer international shipping to most countries.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Hand wash and air dry only. Excessive heat such as tumble dryer may damage the magnetic fastener. If you do decide to machine wash, use a gentle cold wash and ensure the magnets are fastened together.
